Fluroescents Scream at me! UAES album review

The rock and alternative scene in Chicago has always been strong and very equipped with bands that have molded the way we look at pop culture for the last twenty plus years and then some. The group Fluroescents have been working hard to claim their place in this amazing group of artists that are pushing the new wave in our city. This new album truly embodies all of this and more..

Scream at Me! is a perfect album carrying the synergy of heartbreak and embracing the emotions that come with that. Records like “Take it Back”, “Funeral”, and “Roll the Dice” show the powerful word play that this band can fuse with their sound. While records like “Not Enough”, show more of the melancholy this band can manifest..

Our favorite records to play in the office are “Take it Back”, “Roll the Dice”, and Sober Lullabies”. Take a listen to this amazing debut album and let us know what you think..
