Zacharyiah TBM keeps building motion w/ release “DramaKING 3”

Zacharyiah TBM has been working on a lot of amazing things all year, from being on the news to being on a billboard celebrating his Chatham community heritage. TBM has been making every move intentional and direct. with this new album that continues to be the case. Zacharyiah TBM is definitely one of those lyricists who not only brings a distinct style to the table, but also makes sure the wordplay stays aligned with the vision. His bodies of work tend to feel very conceptual, and even more importantly, he’s always direct with his bars and intentional about the type of music he creates. With this new album, that remains true..

“DramaKING 3” feels like a project built around presence. Not presence in the loudest sense, but in the way an artist enters a room and already understands what energy they’re bringing. The title alone suggests someone continuing a story rather than restarting one, and the project carries that same feeling throughout. What stands out first is confidence in pacing. There’s no rush to prove anything. The sequencing feels intentional, letting moments stretch instead of constantly reaching for a viral clip or dramatic payoff. That patience becomes one of the project’s strengths because it allows records to sit with you longer. There’s also an interesting balance between polish and personality. The music doesn’t feel overly engineered to sound perfect, it feels lived in. The textures, transitions, and delivery create a world that feels cohesive rather than overly curated. Conceptually, “DramaKING 3” feels centered around identity and perception. There’s a recurring energy of someone navigating what they’re expected to be versus who they actually are. Even when the moments feel bigger than life, there’s still enough restraint to keep the project grounded. One of the strongest qualities here is replay value. Not because every record immediately jumps out, but because the project feels layered enough to reward another listen. Different moments begin to stand out depending on what mood you’re in..

If there’s one place we’d push further in future releases, it would be contrast. There are points where taking bigger risks sonically or structurally could create even more memorable peaks and valleys. The foundation is there, now it becomes about stretching the boundaries of that world. There are a lot of strong takeaways throughout the project, and one of it’s biggest strengths is it’s replay value. The writing feels deliberate, and there’s a consistency in the approach that makes the project easy to return to. If there’s one thing we’d love to see pushed further moving forward, it would be more experimentation with flow changes and melodic variation across records. At certain points, the project leans into a similar style for long enough that it can begin to feel slightly repetitive. That said, it doesn’t take away from the quality of the work or the overall experience of the album. Overall, this is another strong and thoughtful body of work from Zacharyiah TBM that continues to show his strengths as both a lyricist and a conceptual artist..

Overall, “DramaKING 3” feels like an artist continuing to sharpen their identity instead of chasing trends. It’s reflective without losing momentum and composed without becoming distant..
