The Creative Revolution come together for release “The Beginning”
The Creative Revolution, consisting of Cheri Soul, Tony Evans X, and Le’Aire XCIV, feels like the coming together of three creatives who understand lyricism, vocal ability, chemistry, aesthetic, and, most importantly, intention. Their new album, “The Beginning'“, is a very well put together body of work. The replay value is there. The mixing and mastering are at a quality level, and every record feels intentional without the project ever feeling forced. Sonically, it carries this smoky jazz lounge energy, intimate, soulful, mature, and something you can genuinely sit with from beginning to end. You can also hear each artist bringing something different to the table without fighting for space. That chemistry is one of the project’s biggest strengths..
Our biggest critique is simple, the rollout needs to match the quality of the music. “The Beginning” has already created a world sonically, now we need to see it. A listening experience, visualizers, music videos, intentional photography, or even a headlining show could give this album a stronger physical and visual presence. Because good music alone isn’t always enough to cut through. A project this intentional deserves more than a release, it deserves an experience that gives people a reason to discover it, return to it, and remember it. If this really is “The Beginning”, then treat it like one. Build the world, bring these records to life, and give people a reason to become invested in what The Creative Revolution is building next..
For what we know this album was a long time coming and there’s insight behind the creative process. We’d like to see that, each artist on their own has already accomplished a great deal on their own. We’d love to see more of the origin behind this project. For everybody else, don’t wait until the rest of the city catches on. Tap into “The Beginning” now, run the album from front to back, and let us know which record deserves the visual treatment first..
